 Ready to get sketchy? 

Let's have some Safari Fun!

I've created a larger size card - 6.5" x 5" - to fit in all the elements from the sketch.  

Safari Fun (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps) is inked using wicked black (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps) and coloured with Copic markers  I also coloured the background using copics with edges ink distressed (Blue Bay & Mossy Meadow - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps)

Die cut circle is popped up onto patterned papers from Little Explorer (Echo Park) and neutral burlap ribbon.  I've added a few enamel dots from my stash for embellishments.

I'm playing with the awesome Layers of Eggs stencil & New Beginnings sentiment. 

I dry embossed both layers of the stencil and sanded the texture to expose the white core of the cardstock.  The stencil has such great detail.  I then heat embossed the sentiment using Wow white with a pocket panel.

Day 2 - Gear Up & Live Release Day!!

 

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the February Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set

These robots are absolutely awesome!! You'll find them perfect for birthday, thank you and so many more themes! Who doesn't love a cute robot!!

I've used a gear die for this fun fold card.  I stamped all the images in wicked black ink, coloured with copics and fussy cut popping onto the patterned papers from Mintay Papers. 

The edges are ink distressed using Marvelous Mocha.

Spring hasn't quite sprung yet, but it's right around the corner! These cute animals will help you celebrate!!

I've inked up the images using wicked black ink, coloured with copic markers, fussy cut & popped up with foam tape.  The scene is created with Krafty Scenery 2 using Blue Bay & Moss Meadow Ink.  

As you hop around the design team's blogs today you'll be able to check out New Beginnings in action in combination with our other new 

January Kraftin' Kimmie product!  

We've also got a new Krafty Stencil for this month's release to help add some funky fun to your creations!

AHSC #564 - You've Got Game!

Happy Monday & Welcome to Sketch #564 at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  Each week we bring you a new sketch for you to play along.  

This sketch has some fun elements and layers.   I've used Doodlebug - Slam Dunk patterned papers along with Kraftin' Kimmie - You've Got Game! stamp set.  The image is stamped using Kraftin' Kimmie wicked black ink & coloured with copic markers.

I've popped up the centre panel using foam tape and added a few smaller enamel dots.

Safari Fun is not what you might choose for the challenge theme of love/hearts, but there is no denying how much Lulu loves her giraffe!

Lulu is stamped using Wicked Black ink & coloured with Copic markers.  I've fussy cut & popped up with foam tape onto patterned paper from Echo Park - Little Explorer.

Sentiment from Life is a Joy stamped in wicked black ink and a few heart enamel gems.

Every month we post a brand new challenge with a choice of themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!
