Simple Vintage Christmas

Happy Monday & welcome to the final sketch of November with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I don't know about you but I'm not really craving an ice cream cone....brrrrr, but I love the centre image focal point on this sketch.  

I still had the Simple Vintage Christmas paper collection from Simple Stories sitting on my craft desk.  The ephemera with this suite is so gorgeous - lots of detail and gorgeous vintage colours.  

I chose two patterns from the collection and matted with black cardstock.  For the centre focal image I chose the big man himself.  No stamping on this card - the stickers are too cute to save!!  

To finish off, few Kraftin' Kimmie dots,  bow from ribbon in my stash, and, of course, a decorated envelope!

Just the Facts - Use a Sentiment

 

   Good morning and welcome to another

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?

This week, Krafty Girl Jennifer is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

JUST THE FACTS! USE A SENTIMENT!

I've created a super clean & simple card to allow the sentiment to shine.  

Christmas Cheer Sentiments has eight fabulous sentiments and is a must have!!  

The embossed white cardstock is backed with red glitter paper & the sentiment is highlighted in a shaker with more red glitter paper.  I even managed to get one random green sequin in my red & white card. 

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Tis the Season

 Happy Monday!!!  Ready for another awesome sketch from Atlantic :Hearts Sketch Challenge?   This one is full of inspiration.  

Do you ever find something wonderful while cleaning your scrap room?  I came across this beautiful Simple Stories - Simple Vintage Christmas collection and wanted it to be the centre of attention for my project this week.

I used three different patterns, along with stickers and ephemera all from Simple Vintage Christmas.  Each piece is ink distressed using Totally Taupe from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to help with that vintage feel.  I've added a green burlap bow to the centre circle & popped up with foam tape.   A few Krafty Dots from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and some stickers for embellishments.

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the November Release

Oh my goodness this stamp set just makes me laugh.  Such pure joy on one face and such defeat on the other!!

All coloured with Copic markers with images stamped in Wicked Black ink.  Liquid Applique (available in add-on bundle) is used on the hat & coat cuffs.  

Chipboard snowflakes (available in add-on bundle) and a few Krafty Dots are perfect embellishments for the winter scene.

Of course today is also challenge day and as always during release week, it's Anything Goes!  So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item, planner page....with some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products for your chance to WIN the monthly prize!
