Christmas Cheer - AHSC #435

 It's Monday & that means another sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  Michelle has created another awesome sketch (#435) to get your mojo flowing.

My first thought when seeing the sketch was the circle was perfect for a shaker element.

Yep I went with my first instinct!   The sentiment (Christmas Cheer - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps) is heat embossed in silver on sapphire cardstock, with silver star confetti & silver glitter paper finishing the shaker element.  I added some silver embellishing thread and silver glitter gems to finish off the card.  

Clean & simple yet striking - another card for my Christmas card stash!!

ASHC #433 - Magical

 Welcome to August and Sketch #433 with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Ready to get your mojo going - here is the sketch.   There are so many elements to inspire....

For my card I've used Echo Park - Coffee and Friends patterned paper, along with Linen cardstock (CTMH) on an off white A2 card base.  This would be a great sketch to use some of those scrap papers we all have sitting to the side.  

I've coloured the cute mushroom and fairy with Copic markers, fussy cut and popped up on the scallop circle with foam tape.  Sentiment and images are from the fabulous set  "Fairy Folk"  from Kraftin' Kimmie.  This set comes with lots of images and sentiments perfect for every occasion.    I love being able to curve clear stamps to fit the design.   

Silver embellishing thread and silver glitter gems finish off the card.  Remember to decorate the inside of your card & your envelope!!
