Valentine's Day

I've been working on a custom project for a future bride and my time in my craft room has been spent with sunflowers and ribbon.

My nephew is getting married on Valentine's Day so our day is completely planned for us.  A very romantic day to spend with family & friends - - and my special Valentine!!

I did take a few minutes today to create a cute card that I saw on you-tube.  Thanks to Brandy for her inspiration.

Isn't she cute?  I am so impressed with how quickly this came together and with the final project.

The monkey is created with chocolate and bamboo cardstock with gypsy adding the colour.  This was the first time (gasp!) I had used the Paper Fundamentals but it won't be the last.  I love the  purple heart paper and it was perfect for my card.

I also used a puffy silver heart from the Seasonal Expressions 1 for her hair bow.

The googly eyes give that whimsy fun look.  I only noticed after that one of my "eyes" is stuck and she has an odd look but that only adds to the cuteness.

Again, many thanks Brandy for a fun video.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8oxxP8jpaE

Enjoy,

Jennifer
