I'm working on it...
My blog that is...
Thank you so much to my good friend Alyson Mayo for helping me today, spending time I'm sure she would have loved to be creating, helping me with my blog features.
So, there will be some glitches, some hiccups, and some empty spots for a bit, but please stay with me while in construction.

Cowgirl Up!!!
As promised, not to be outdone, it's cowgirl time. We all know girls can handle roping just as well as the boys, so I couldn't resist this little miss!
Love, love, love this little lass, in her cowgirl outfit and handling that rope as good as the boys!!!
I always find my greys tricky to work with, but I do like how the cowgirl hat turned out - still want to work on my shading, but it's coming along.
The paper package is the same as the cowboy and I'm sorry I don't know the name.
I hope you like my Cowgirl Up! as much as I do.
Happy creating,
Jennifer

Cowboy Up
Sometimes an image just grabs you. It reminds you of someone, or something and makes you smile. This little dude did that for me.
While on vacation in Myrtle Beach, I visited a cute little store and chatted with the owner for a while. She had some great card kits ready for you to simply colour, distress, and put together. Normally I don't go for kits, but this little guy reminded me so much of my nephew I had to go for it.
I'm sorry I don't know the stamp image name or the company he came from, nor do I know the paper company name. But I do like it.
I coloured my little dude with my Copics and a myriad of colours. Sorry, I didn't list them when I was working away, but the shorts are my fave combination of B93,B95 and B97. Skin colour is E50, E000 and E02.
I hope you enjoy my card and not to be outdown his "dudette" will show up soon too!!

Christmas Cards
Wow - I thought the summer flew by but the fall is flying by even faster. I can't believe it's the middle of October already. I was in Myrtle Beach for a week for part of my extended birthday celebrations. My husband & I had a lot of fun - he in golf school and me - shopping!!!
I was able to do some crafting yesterday and wanted to share some cards made with the fabulous October Stamp of the Month - Very Merry Christmas.
Pear & Partridge paper package has great colours, and patterns for all your cardmaking and scrapbooking projects. I used the Artiste cricut cartridge for the bow. The pointsetta and snowflake brad are from my stash of retired product.
These cute mittens tied with cranberry twine remind me of the days of strings on my mittens hanging from my coat sleeves. I paper pieced the top of the mitten with another pattern from the Pear & Partridge paper.
The sparkles are from the red/pink sparkle assortment.
This card turned out better than I had thought - the ornaments were glittered up with almond glitz glitter gel. Christmas is a great opportunity to get sparkly.
These cards were a snap to assemble, especially with the Artiste cricut cartridge to cut all the shapes. The carrier sheet from the stamp set makes it so simple to find the image, the page number and size is printed right on it.
I have a few more things I've been working on and will be sharing more artwork in the coming days.
