My mom was an avid quilter, creating amazing beautiful quilts for her family and to donate to charities.  I chose to create a woven star quilted card and dry embossed using Geo 3 stencil for that quilted look.  

I've stamped the beautiful sentiment from Desert Landscape using granite grey ink.

I've created a baby sampler page using Look out World and Hello Little One images.  I've also used eight awesome stencils and the gorgeous stormy sky ink to stamp BABY title.  All images are stamped in wicked black ink and coloured with copic markers.

Skrappy Challenge - Anything but a Card!!

Good morning krafty friends! 

It's MAY, 

and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation! 

I am a scrapboopker at heart and started my creative journey only doing scrapbooks pages with cards coming later.  For the skrappy challenge I've created a fun double page Canada Day layout using Friends to the Finish stamp set.   

The cute girl image has a "1" on her shirt - perfect for July 1st - Canada Day celebrations.  The image is stamped in wicked black ink & coloured with Copic markers.
