AHSC #510 - Fairy Folk

 Happy Monday & Welcome to the final sketch of January 2023

A sketch is to inspire or to provide ideas for your creative input.  For this sketch I've put that theory to test.

I've fussy cut individual trees and layered over the patterned paper to create a centre raised dimension panel.  The paper is P13-Once Upon a Time.  It's whimsical, dreamy and perfect for Fairy Folk from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  

The boy fairy, toad stools, butterfly & sentiment are all stamped in wicked black ink.  The images are coloured with copic markers.

The wings of the butterfly & fairy are coated with glitter with a clear shimmer pen.  A few gold glitter gems and gold embellishing thread to finish off the card.

I'd love to see your interpretation of the sketch.

   Good morning and welcome to our  

Monthly Saturday Challenge Mid Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This month the challenge themes for you are:

MONOCHROMATIC

You can choose any or all - whatever inspires you!

I'm using the fabulous "Yeti or Not!" stamp set - just restocked in the shop.

Lots of different colouring mediums on this card.  Copic markers on the mountains, Kraftin' Kimmie ink for the sky & Prismacolour pencils for Mr. Yeti.

The sentiment and images were all stamped in wicked black ink.  

I've also used clear Stickles for the snow & popped up Mr. Yeti on foam tape for added dimension.

Every month we post a brand new challenge with three themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

AHSC #508 - Love Bugs

We're mid way through the month - ready for a new sketch? 

 

I am in love with this sketch - there are so many elements.

I've used a larger card base to accommodate a larger die cut border.  (CTMH-rectangle stiched die), and doily die cut (CTHM-doily).

Love Bugs (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps) images including the sunflowers, lady bugs and leaves are stamped in wicked black ink (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps) and coloured with Copic markers. 

I've fussy cut the images and popped up with foam tape for added dimension.  

The sentiment (retired CTMH stamp)  is also stamped in wicked black ink

Background with Geo 1 Stencil & Mossy Meadow Kraftin' Kimmie ink.    The sentiment & corn image are stamped in wicked black and coloured with Copic markers.

Inspirational Wednesday - Sandy Toes

 

    Hello Krafty Friends!

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,

the day we provide you with a bit of extra krafty inspiration

to help you get creative with your krafty stamps!

Good morning krafty friends!

Happy New Year!

It's January, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

This is my first year doing a December Daily album.  It has been super fun so I'm sure this won't be my last album.

My sweet grandsons made some yummy Gingerbread creations.  

The perfect stamp set to showcase their goodies is "Yummy Christmas"  

I stamped the gingerbread and sentiment in wicked black & coloured with Copic markers. 

The patterned paper & foam numbers are Simple Stories - Hearth & Holiday collection. 

Here's some fabulous inspiration from our Design Team this month!

Welcome to the first sketch of 2023!!  

It's time to get creative & get your mojo flowing with this amazing sketch!

I'm sending out some non-traditional thank you cards!   I've used Doodlebug - Down on the Farm paper collection (including ephemera & foam stickers) for my card.  

Bright, fun patterns combined with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Farm Friends.  These little guys are super quick to colour up and add whimsy & fun to any card.  A bit of twine & enamel dots for embellishments.
