I've used the beautiful Craft Consortium - Ink Drops Dusk patterned paper for the background & covered with shimmer.  

This beautiful image is stamped in wicked black ink & coloured with copics.  The wings of the fairy are coloured again with shimmer.  I've fussy cut out and popped up onto the patterned paper with foam tape.
