Valentine Colour Palette

I've used the super cute stamp set "Love Bugs" for my card.

Images are stamped in Wicked Black Ink & coloured with Prisma Colour pencils.  Each image is fussy cut and popped up with foam tape for added dimension.    A couple of enamel hearts & a decorated envelope to finish off the challenge. 

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

AHSC #457 - Happy 1st Birthday

 Happy Monday!! Welcome to another lovely sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  

This sweet card has already been sent out to a special little girl celebrating her 1st Birthday!!!  What a year she has had.  

It was super fun to pull out some of my stash from Baby Girl Complements (retired CTMH).  Vellum balloons, sentiment block, giraffe and #1 are all from the complements, which I've grouped in a cluster adding a sunny flower, and  gold embellishing thread.  Simple gold shimmer dots and gold glitter cardstock finish off this card.

Christmas Challenge #3 - Purple

 Ready for another Christmas Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. 

 This is a busy week with the January release but I'm still keeping up with the Christmas Challenges.  This week the challenge is "purple".

I'm using up my stash again with this 5 x 7 circle spin card.  The centre circle spins when the card opens.  Pretty neat!   Clean & simple card with Christmas Seals stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, with sentiment embossed in silver.  No better time than Christmas to use lots and lots of glitter so bring on the silver glitter cardstock and silver glitter gems.  

Play along with us all month for your chance to earn Krafty $$.  Once 5 people have entered their creations, Kim will draw for a gift certificate to the shop!

Day 3 - Coffee & Chocolate!!

 

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the January Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fantastic set

COFFEE AND CHOCOLATE! 

This delicious set is perfect of course for Valentines, and for so many other occasions as well! Seriously, who wouldn't want to get a sweet card with these awesome images and sentiments?!!

MMMMM what's better than Coffee & Chocolate?  This set is so fun.  The cup & chocolate both stamped in Wicked Black ink & coloured with Copic markers.  The cup sleeve is made with Kraft cardstock, embossed every 1/4" - if you have a crimper in your stash you could do this way too.  

I paper pieced the chocolate wrapper with silver foil paper & added a few coffee bean brads.  

Envelope is, of course, decorated using the Lots of Love  stencil & beautiful new ink  Bashful Blush.

Day 2 - My Type

 

 Welcome back to Day TWO of our January Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen

 and it's called.....

MY TYPE!

This clever set is so perfect for sending a note for so many different occasions! 

 I'm aging myself when I say I may remember a typewriter just like this!   Stamped in Wicked Black & coloured with Copic markers, the image is popped up with foam tape on a kraft mat.  Another technique often forgotten is simple edge distressing which I've done on all the mats.  

The new ink colour is soooooo pretty - I've used it with the  stencil to create a fun envelope.  Can you spy one on the card too?  A few Krafty Dots and twine to finish it off.

Thank You!

 Happy New Year!!  Welcome to my first Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge post of 2022.  Let's get this year off to a great start. 

 Here is the sketch: 

One of the rules my boys had when they were little was thank you cards.  No playing with new gifts until the thank you card had been completed.   Have you sent out your thank you cards?

I've used Diagon-illy Stencil and inked with Soft Sage Ink, both from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, to create the background.     I pulled out a favourite CTMH stamp set - Many Thanks for the sentiment stamped with Wicked Black ink and mounted on a scalloped die cut.  The dies, cardstock, and burlap ribbon are from CTMH.

Christmas Challenge #2 - Snowflakes

 Welcome back to Christmas Challenge #2.  

This week the challenge is "snowflakes".

Super happy with how this clean & simple card turned out.  I used Simple Stories - Feelin' Frosty paper collection.  I inked up just Santa & his reindeers from Christmas Cheer set in Wicked Black ink, masking off the sentiment I didn't want to use.  I then used Christmas Seals to stamp the sentiment again in Wicked Black Ink.

A simple snowflake cut from the patterned paper with foam tape popping up the scallop circle for added dimension.  I then used Kraftin' Kimmie black glitter gems.

This week, Krafty Girl Danni is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

PAPER PIECING!

This is another technique often forgotten.  I have stamped "A Bit Smart Assy 2" in wicked black ink for the base of the image.  I then stamped the same image again using  Magical Midnight Ink on two pieces of patterned paper - one for the robe and the other for the bottoms.  Each is fussy cut and layered on top of the black ink base.  

I coloured the balance of the image using Copic markers.  

The patterned paper is from a retired Beautiful Friendship (CTMH).  I've added gold glitter gems, ribbon, bow and gold embellishing thread to finish off this fun card.  

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.
