Wild Side

 Ready for another awesome sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge?  

So many possibilities with this sketch.  Flip it 90 degrees for a different look.  

I'm using the super cute "The Wild Side" from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps for both the image and the sentiment.  Both are stamped in Kraftin' Kimmie wicked black ink and coloured with Shin Han tri blend markers.  

We've welcome grandson #4 to the family and the kids asked me to make their thank you cards.  This sweet koala & baby were perfect.  

I pulled the patterned paper, vellum and grey dots from my stash and used foam tape to pop up the image.  

Super clean & simple design which is right up my alley.

This little guy is so cute in his onesie, holding his candy cane & ready to see what Santa has brought him.  His wee kitten companion is ready to help find out!!!  The image and sentiment are stamped in Kraftin' Kimmie Wicked Black ink and the tag has a wee bit of new Indigo Blue around the edges.  

The wee boy is coloured in copics, fussy cut, and popped up with foam tape on the tag.  A few Kraftin' Kimmie dots and some organza ribbon from the stash & the tag is ready for the present.

Mice Christmas

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the September Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

MICE CHRISTMAS! 

Sabrina's sweet mice friends are back to help celebrate the holidays! You might remember them from the adorable Too Cute To Spook and You're A Squeak-heart sets! I can't wait to mix and match these cuties! 

I'm not a fan of mice - - nope not at all - - but these mice images from Mice Christmas are pretty dang cute.

Do you "save" paper for just the perfect project?  I mean if we use it we won't have it so...save it.... or buy 2... I won't tell.  This mice paper was in my "collection" for just the right time.

I used the Candy Cane stencil to emboss the background cardstock which is a subtle detail but super stunning.  Lots of layering on this card to showcase the central image.

  

The decorating mouse and tree image were stamped with Kraftin Kimmie wicked black ink & coloured with copics.  I added Kraftin Kimmie dots to the tree for the ornaments and shimmer gel to the light strand. 

The inside of the card has another awesome sentiment with a couple of those cute mice fussy cut from the patterned paper.

Wooly Wonderland

 Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the September Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a fabulous set 

from artist Michelle Houghton

 and it's called.....

WOOLY WONDERLAND!

Ewe'll have the coolest cards around with this fantastic mix and match set of wooly critters!

This fun card is actually a spinner which is super difficult to photograph!!!  The centre circle is duplicated on the opposite side so the cute wooly lamb spins around.  

I've stamped the cute image and sentiment with Kraftin' Kimmie wicked black ink and coloured with Copics.   I also stamped the sentiment on my decorated envelope to look like a postal mark!!!  

The holly leaves are fussy cut from a piece of patterned paper.  Red Krafty Dots and green organza ribbon  finish it off.

Long Landscapes

 Welcome back to Day TWO of our September Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Allison Cope

 and it's called.....

LONG LANDSCAPES!

This amazing set features four fantastic scenic backdrops that you can use on their own or paired with so many other stamped images! 

 Check out LONG LANDSCAPES in so many awesome creations today as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs!  You'll also see the new stencils, Add-On bundle and hybrid ink along the way! 

I know I'm not supposed to have a favourite, but.....  This barn scene is right up there. 

I stamped the barn scene, masked off and stamped a second time (using Kraftin' Kimmie wicked black ink) to extend the fence to cover the entire field.  I sponged Diagon-ally Stencil with both Totally Taupe and Sandy Shores Kraftin' Kimmie inks to create a field.  I think my husband will be proud of my straight rows!    

The barn image and sky are both coloured with a variety of Copic inks.  I used a white gel pen to make the white barn doors and windows.  I then double matted the scene and sponged the final layer with indigo ink.    I think this one may be for my brother's birthday so no sentiment as yet.

Candy Cane Kisses

 Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

These two sweet images were stamped in Kraftin' Kimmie wicked black ink and coloured with a variety of Copic markers.   (I will remember to write down the numbers used eventually).

The patterned paper is pretty busy, so I chose to use black for the  scene matting and again in the embellishments of black ribbon & Kraftin' Kimmie dots.

Autumn Colours

 Good morning and welcome to another

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?

This week, Krafty Girl Anna is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

AUTUMN COLOURS!

Sometimes you don't need or want to add much to a beautiful piece of patterned paper.  This was the case for me with Simple Stories - Simple Vintage Farmhouse Garden. 

I wanted to use more of the August add-on bundle from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps so pulled out the chipboard and rose gold charms, matched up to some rose gold glitter paper and sequins and set to decorating.

The chipboard leaf is sponged with a few Kraftin' Kimmie inks and a bit of shimmer from the add-on bundle gloss!!  I was able to pop up the rose gold charm leaf with foam tape and sprinkle some sequins randomly on the card front.  

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Leaves are Falling stamp set provided the sentiment for both the outside and the inside of the card. 

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Anything Goes - Friends to the Finish

   Good morning krafty friends!

It's September and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

I've created a super fun wine bottle tag and inked up Friends to the Finish stamp set.

I stamped both the image and sentiment with Kraftin' Kimmie wicked black ink and coloured with a variety of Copic markers, fussy cut and popped to the side of the tag.  

The cute wine charm "K" was one of those "I'll use it sometime"  items  - worked perfectly for this project. 

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, October 4th to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!
