Michelle must be thinking Spring with her design for this weeks' challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
I decided to use the Hello Lovely paper collection for this week. I love the polka dot patterned paper and combined with the gold polka dot paper from the gold overlay collection.
The complements have so many beautiful flowers it was difficult to choose which two to use. I added a gold shimmer gem and painted the stems with the gold shimmer brush, and embossed the sentiment also in gold. The gold shimmer trim provides a little bit more gold to this cute birthday card.
The new blush shimmer ribbon is so pretty, you're going to use it over and over again.
I hope you'll join us this week at Atlantic Hearts and add your project simply by clicking on the link.
Enjoy,
Jennifer

With Complements
This week at Heart2Heart Challenges the theme is "complements". These little packages of goodness are offered with every paper collection, but are versatile enough to use with all your projects.
I pulled out the baby boy complements and paired with Whimsy fundamental paper and glacier cardstock.
"Bundle of" is a vellum piece that I backed with glacier cardstock and then popped up with foam tape.
The "joy" silver glitter paired great with the silver glitter heart. Inside is stamped, Hello Sweet Baby in slate ink,

Getting buggy with AHSC
I'm getting buggy this week for the sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. The actual name of the paper collection is Dreamin' Big, but I'm sure I'll refer to it as the bug paper collection.
This collection has such great patterns and colours. I'm sure I'll use it over and over again.
The coordinating complements and embellishments are just as cute.
I've used the cute bug pattern and two of the picture my life cards, cut down to size. The black chevron background is also one of the patterns included in this package.
I have been using the Artistry cricut collection on another project and came across this great banner cut. The sentiment is stamped in black ink and is from a retired stamp set.
I also used the juniper coloured sequins from the collection, with bitty sparkles on the inside. To finish it off, I used the clear shimmer brush on the flowers.
I hope you'll join us this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Simply click on the link to add your project.
Enjoy,

Hello Lovely
As soon as the new Seasonal Expressions I was released, I fell in love with Hello Lovely. This is a beautiful paper collection perfect for all your papercrafting, and is featured this week at Heart2Heart Challenges.
I decided to use one of the Picture My Life pieces for my card. The 4 x 6 panel is cut down to 3 3/4 x 5, popped up with foam tape onto a sorbet cardstock background.
I dressed up the basic card with new blush shimmer ribbon and gold glitter gems. To make the flowers glitter even more I painted with the new gold shimmer brush.
The inside is stamped with Mr. & Mrs. from the Hello Lovely - Cardmaking stamp set.
