LUCY

It's not very often, having two boys, that I get the chance to make layouts using girly, feminine, soft, pretty paper like those designs from LUCY paper package.  As soon as I saw the beautiful flower and, soft argyle background & texture paper, cardstock complimenting colours of Blush, Creme Brulee and Sweet Leaf, and then the co-ordinating Complements Glittery Rub-Ons, I knew I had the pictures that would suit  this paper package perfectly.

These layouts feature the story of my beautiful great-nieces, Audrey & Peyton on the occasion of their baptism at our family church.  The church holds a lot of history for my family, including the baptisms of 4 generations including Peyton & Audrey, their siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandmother.

Left side of two page layout, which opens to reveal additional layout
This is the right side of the layout which also flips open to show another layout
Opened flip flap - centre 12 X 12 layout and
left side 8 X 12 and right side 4 X 12 layouts.  The photos were
highlighted with the beautiful soft flower paper of the Lucy paper.

Opened flaps with centre 12 X 12 layout and
6 X 12 layouts each size.  The argyle zip strrip is
used on the outside sides of each 6 X 12 layout and
highlighted with bitty sparkles.

Now of course with little girls you have to add ribbon, more flowers, and more sparkles.  I loved using the Lucy Complements Glittery Rub-Ons. They were a snap to use and added instant embellishments to the layouts.  On each of the flower rub-ons I added more bling with even more bitty sparkles, and added ribbon bows to the flower stems.  Bohemium Alphabet letters finished up the flower theme in the title.  The title was stamped with Grey Wool ink.

My beautiful great-nieces were very blessed babies on their baptism.  They were gorgeous in their handmade gowns and were truly angels welcomed into God's house with rousing applause.

Love you Audrey & Peyton

  1. Very pretty! Love the gray and pink flower design. The pictures look fantastic on the pages. I've not scrapbooked yet, but I'm so wanting to learn. I love the Lucy papers and embellishments.
